Snowbound
February 6, 2010
I’m officially trapped at home. With 22 inches on the ground and snow still falling steadily, it’s going to be a looong weekend!
Sorry for the iPhone post and pics. Our internet is going in and out… No fun! At least we have power – 100,000+ area homes have been without power since last night! Can you imagine? Brrr…
Keep your fingers crossed for me! I’m all fueled up with a big bowl of banana-PB oats and ready to face the cold stuff.
Back later (I hope!) with better pics. For now, there’s a snow shovel with my name on it.
If you’re trapped too, how are you spending the day? If you’re not… Do you like snow?

Wow…these pictures are amazing! I hope you stay warm and the storm isn’t too bad.
At least you have the Super Bowl :-}
Fingers crossed I can get out to the Super Bowl party tomorrow. You guys might be stuck with a lot of extra food, too!

Hot beverages (tea and cocoa) are key. Smart thinking.
Hope your power stays on! I’ve been looking at pictures online; it’s crazy!
Oh my goodness girl! I know my mama said they got 18 inches in Pittsburgh, but two feet?!?!! Lordy lord!!
gah! i have no idea what i’d do in that snowed in situation!! i’d be totally hopeless, it rarely if ever drops below 50* here, rendering me physically unable to handle the cold haha. i do love to look at it though! stay warm!
Don’t laugh Erin, but I made it to the Adam’s Mill bar which was OPEN up the street. Had some chili and 2 pints of some beer similar to Blue Moon. All in all, it was an experience to walk there as the only boots I have come with chunky heels.
Time to buy some Hunter’s!
Stuck at home watching Bravo and attempting to do yoga.
Blahhhhhh.
Wow that’s a lot of snow! I thought we had a lot here…but not quite that much haha…enjoy it while it lasts though
