Staycation: Get Outside
It’s going to be sunny and warm(er) this weekend. While I’m off for a few days at Big Bend National Park, enjoy the gorgeous weekend in Washington with one mission in mind: get outside.
Go for a walk.
Go for a hike.
Go for a run.
Walk around an outdoor shopping mall.
Walk around the Mall.
Walk around the block.
Sit at an outdoor cafe.
Sit on the top floor of a double-decker bus.
Sit on a bench in the middle of Dupont Circle and people-watch.
We all know grey days are all-too-common during winter in Washington so while it’s nice, please, get some fresh air and enjoy it.
Have a staycation adventure without spending a dime and get some sun-sent Vitamin D at the same time.

Loving the warmer weather! We went to Reston Town Center earlier today and enjoyed walking around with a coffee in hand, chatting, and window shopping
